About the event
In this metalsmithing workshop, students will learn how to create a custom bezel-set stone ring from sterling silver, combining both technical skill and creative design. The class will cover essential jewelry-making techniques, including measuring and forming a silver band, fabricating a bezel setting, soldering, setting a cabochon stone, and finishing the piece to a professional polish. Each participant will design and complete their own unique ring, gaining hands-on experience with traditional silversmithing tools and methods. While this project is more advanced than the stacking ring workshop, it remains approachable and welcoming to beginners who are ready for a slightly greater challenge.
