Meet the Maker

Hi there, I'm Molly. Owner and Metalsmith of Bareroots Jewelry.

     I'm a self-taught metalsmith based out of Cape May Court House, NJ. I originally attended the University of Vermont majoring in Ecological Agriculture, only to discover my love for the arts after graduation.  However, my love for plants and the natural world play a huge role in the inspiration for nearly all my pieces. 

     After spending 7 years in Vermont, I decided to move home during the pandemic and  have been practicing metalsmithing ever since! After endless hours of youtube videos, books, and a couple hands-on workshops, I developed the fundamental skills to fulfill my dream as a metalsmith!

      Im lucky enough to work out of our lovely 200 year old "fixer-upper" with my partner, our two pups and our newborn baby Arlo James.
